Terms &
Conditions.
Clear information about this website, enquiries and customer support.
Last updated: 29 September 2026
These website terms apply to DayBright Sales & Distribution (Pty) Ltd in Botswana. They do not replace the sale, payment plan or warranty agreement supplied with your product. Nothing on this page excludes or limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under Botswana law.
1. About DayBright
This website is operated by DayBright Sales & Distribution (Pty) Ltd, Mogobe Office Park, Gaborone Ext. 2, Khwai Road, Plot 688, Gaborone, Botswana. Contact us at info@daybright.africa.
The website provides phone information and a way to contact our team. It also provides help for existing DayBright product and payment accounts.
2. Product information & purchases
Product photographs show the named models; colours and variants supplied may differ from those pictured. Brand names identify the products you can enquire about and do not, by themselves, claim an exclusive or authorised dealership. Models, colours, specifications, availability and prices must be confirmed with DayBright before purchase.
An enquiry through this website is not an accepted order. Before buying, confirm the exact product, its condition, the total price in Botswana pula, any additional charges, warranty details and agreed collection or delivery arrangements. DayBright will confirm the purchase directly with you.
No checkout or payment collection is provided on this website.
3. Payment agreements & existing accounts
For a DayBright smartphone payment plan, you need a Botswana ID, the required deposit and sufficient income for your agreed repayments. We do not require a payslip or credit history. Our team will explain how you can demonstrate your income and confirm a suitable payment schedule.
Daily, weekly or monthly payments are agreed for your chosen phone. Before you commit, DayBright will explain the deposit, total amount payable, payment amounts and due dates, and any other applicable costs or conditions in the written agreement.
Financed smartphones use the Trustonic platform for payment management. Missed agreed payments can lead to a device lock, subject to your agreement and applicable law. Contact DayBright if you have paid and the device remains locked, or if you need help with your payments. The team will check the account and explain the resolution process.
If you have a payment plan, the amounts, payment dates, term and any applicable device controls are governed by your signed agreement and Botswana law. These website terms do not create a new credit agreement or change an existing one.
Contact the helpdesk for authorised payment instructions or account queries. Keep your receipt. If a payment has not appeared or a device is locked, ask the team to check your account.
This page does not impose new interest, collection charges, credit reporting permissions or debit-order authority.
4. Warranty & product support
Contact DayBright if a product supplied by us develops a fault. Give us the model or serial number, the nature of the fault and proof of purchase if available. We will explain the assessment and next steps.
Any commercial warranty is subject to the terms supplied with the particular product. A warranty period shown on older promotional material for one product must not be treated as the warranty for every phone or system.
Existing d.light home-system customers can request warranty assistance through our helpdesk. Your applicable statutory rights and remedies under Botswana consumer law continue to apply, in addition to any commercial warranty.
Use products according to their instructions. Damage, attempted repairs or misuse may affect commercial warranty cover, subject to applicable law; this is not a blanket exclusion of statutory rights.
5. Returns, faults & refunds
Contact DayBright before returning or sending a product so that we can explain the process. Faulty goods and any applicable repair, replacement or refund remedies are handled under Botswana consumer law and the terms of the sale.
Do not assume that a change-of-mind return or cancellation is available for every purchase. Ask us about the policy applying to your purchase. Nothing here makes all payments non-refundable or removes a remedy required by law.
6. Using this website
Use this website lawfully. Do not attempt to interfere with it, misuse its contact details or impersonate DayBright. We aim to keep information accurate and correct errors when identified. Confirm purchase details with the team rather than relying on a general illustration or description.
Names, logos and other brand materials remain the property of their respective owners. Third-party links, if provided, take you to services governed by their own terms.
7. Privacy
Our Privacy notice explains how enquiries and website information are handled. Never send banking passwords, PINs or one-time codes to DayBright.
8. Applicable law & changes
These website terms are governed by the laws of Botswana. We may update website information and these terms; the date above identifies this version. Changes to this page do not retrospectively alter a signed customer agreement or remove statutory rights.
If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions apply to the extent permitted by law. No provision limits your right to raise a matter with the competent Botswana consumer authority or court.
